Azmi has been impressing the nation with the sounds of the saxophone and to the tunes of almost 100 performances annually! Azmi will be playing music of Latin Ethnic & Funk Jazz & have been impressing the nation with the sounds of his skills and creative talents!

Reza Salleh


The past 10 years have been one of the most active periods in the history of the malaysian independent music scene. Part of the forefront of this reinvigorated music movement is Reza Salleh, one of the country’s leading singer-songwriters, performers and gig organisers. starting out at an open mic in 2000, Reza has risen to be one of the most well known names in the circuit, known for his music as well as his work promoting and developing young acts in the scene.

As a musician Reza’s songwriting appeals to a diverse cross-section of the music listening public, bringing him to a variety of different stages ranging from prestigious philharmonic concert halls to raw live music clubs and even high school proms. His ability to perform in multiple formats be it solo or a full 9-piece ensemble further adds to his flexibility as a musician.


Q Sound feat. Aina Abdul


Since wrapping up his 7-year career with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in late 2015, the former Principal Trombone is now ready to take the music world by storm.With his rich experience of composing and performing music from his favourite genres; jazz, R&B, hiphop, electro, soul, funk and classical music, audiences can expect nothing less than talent, skill and continuos evolution from Q Sound.

Q Sound or familiarly known as Marques Young began his musical studies at age twelve with the euphonium under the direction of Gordon Manley. At sixteen, he was also playing trombone, and in 2001 was accepted into Arkansas Tech University School of Music, studying under Dr. Will Kimball. In 2003, Marques began his studies at the Juilliard School under Joseph Alessi, Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic. During his orchestral training at Juilliard, Marques found continued success in solo competitions which carved his way into landing a position with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

He’s shared the stage with jazz greats like Benny Golson, Paquinto D’Rivera, and Wynton Marsalis. Q Sound is also backed by an impressive list of past performances, namely for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as opening for Jose James, BabyFace and recently Hiatus Kayote with the band Basement Syndicate. Currently, Q Sound is promoting his upcoming solo debut in the form of a visual EP – Duel Citizenship. Set to be available globally in early 2016, the music video for the title track has just been released as the first instalment of an unconventional jazz short film. Inspired by personal experience, the ‘Duel Citizenship’ music video series directed by emerging filmmaker Al Ibrahim speaks of intertwined conflicts narrated by Q Sound’s music.

Caught between two worlds for much of the past decade, Q Sound unravels the pains of an Asian-based American jazz and classical musician living a secret life of a lover and performer at a crossroads.


Priscillia Xavier & Friends



A dreamer, a lover and a soulful story-teller; 3 things that best describes this talented songstress.

Priscillia Xavier has been in the indie music for about 5 years now, as a singer, song, writer and a LIVE performance artist; actively gigging across various venues in the Klang Valley.

She has also been involved with several shows hosted by the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center (KLpac) and The Actors Studio as one of the featured singer/songwriters in the past years.

Influenced by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice and Alanis Morissette, this nightingale now strums and sings with a flair for Acoustic Soul and Indie Rock, while dabbling in other genres that inspire her music.

More recently, Xavier has decided to take her music to audiences across Singapore, Jakarta and Bangkok.






Theatrical, flamboyant, humorous, and passionate musical entertainers inspired by Broadway, FAZZ brings forth a good blend of theatrical comedy, vaudeville, cabaret, rock & roll, and even jazz, with a unique persona on stage.

Bagging tour experiences in regions of Japan, South Korea, and Singapore with lively exchange of music & Malaysian culture in festivals and live houses; FAZZ delivers entertainment through story-telling, fusing theatrical stagecraft with modern-day poetry.



Joy Victor feat. 9 Lives Band


Joy, who is of Chinese-Indian parentage, started her stage career dancing ballet and tap at a very young age of 4 years old. Being at ease on stage, she
uses this as an added advantage once discovering her rhythmic talent for singing, performing and playing musical instruments. Up till date, Joy has
performed together with many reputable musicians in many diverse venues, functions and situations.

Proud of being self-taught, Joy plays the Guitar, Keyboards and a little Drum and Bass. With great stamina and a strong husky tone, she effortlessly get’s the party started with her Party Pop song & belts out anything from sweet ballads, smooth jazz, funky R&B, country rock&roll, and even holds the fort when it comes to ROCK! Joy was casted by Broadway Academy Asia as “Lorrell Robinson” in the highly acclaimed American Broadway Musical “DREAMGIRLS”.

The show was a success in Istana Budaya Kuala Lumpur (National Theatre of Arts) and Joy received many good reviews for her theatrical capabilities in Acting, Singing & Dancing. Performing “live” is her greatest passion. A versatile “live wire” performer NOT to be missed.






GTXperiment consists of four friends at the prime of their musical lives. coming from different backgrounds, Clinton, Daryll, Mark & Jude make a lively & dynamic group. the band’s music is one of a kind because it is supported by a Multiple-lead-singer setup that sees several of its members sharing vocal reins.

On occasions, the band also features an equally magnetic female vocalist. GTXperiment was formed when they got together to perform as finalists of the inaugural MTV Aloftstar competition. They were subsequently crowned champions of South East Asia and followed that up with bettering the champions of India and China.

As overall winners, they were then invited to perform at the grand opening of aloft hotel Gangnam in Korea. The band is currently working on their first album scheduled to be released END OF 2016. From its stand out beats, to its angular flourishes of hip-hop, indie, pop and alternative, their newest material is a body of work that represents where its members currently are creatively.

Their singles “Highdrated” and “Lost” has reached the top of the Hitz FM MET 10 charts while its music videos have been featured frequently on MTV, played alongside other international renowned artists. their music continues to showcase the band’s prowess in the pop and alternative realm. GTXperiment has also made an impression with their belt out renditions of covers and classics that frequently feature other female artists.

After their explosive performance in korea, they then performed at the 2015 f1 after race concert in Sepang, along the likes of Altimet, Girls Generation & Shinee. subsequent gigs include the 2015 KL International Arts Festival, 2015 Island Music Festival, Urbanscapes 2016, Mercedes
#URBANMUSICHUNTING 2016, Opening up for the Sam Willows, & numerous live performances on TV & radio channels including 8TV, TV3 Selamat Pagi Malaysia, Bernama TV, KL LIVE, Hitz FM, IM4U FM, BFM, TRAXX FM & FLY FM.

Some members were also nominated for Cleo’s 50 most eligible bachelors 2016 and have been included in their list of 5 asian artists to check out. There were also performances, reviews and NOTABLE mentions from the likes of New Strait Times, Newman Magazeine, Rentak Sejuta, Gumball Magazine, Rojak, Vulcan Post, MTVasia and etc.



Michael Pignéguy, World Jazz Explosion feat Marques Young & Samantha De Lune


Michael Pignéguy is a leading composer, performer and educator who has worked extensively within the fields of jazz, orchestral and world music. He balances commissions by orchestras from around the world with his own projects which have seen him perform in the US, Italy, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Africa and New Zealand. He also leads World Music act The Awakenings Ensemble.

Michael has worked with with Michel LeGrand (France), Dominick Farinacci (USA), Ziad Rahbani (Lebanon), Asim Gorashi (Sudan), Anton Davidyansk (Russia), Gabriel Hernandez (Cuba), Oleg Polyanskiy (The Ukraine), Kate Ceberano (Australia), Gregory Generet (USA), Israel Varela (Italy), Judi Jackson (USA), The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, The Western Australian Symphony Orchestra, The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and many other world class artists.

Michael’s versatility and inventiveness can be seen clearly through the artists and has composed, arranged and performed for & with. These include artists such as Ben Folds (USA), Nayla Al Khaja (UAE), MAias Al Yamani (Syria), Matthew Rybicki (USA), Hassan Moataz (Egypt) and Trilby Temperley (Australia). Michael’s orchestral arrangements have been performed by Boston Pops, Nashville, Houston, Philadelphia Chamber, Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Baltimore Symphony Orchestras (US) as well as all Australian state orchestras.

A vocalist that performs authentic Jazz, Pop Rock, Traditional Malay, R&B and Soul. Compatible with contemporary genres, Kirana is a regular feature at Kuala Lumpur’s entertainment industry. A gifted vocalist with wide array of modern contemporary repertoire. Kirana has been in the music industry since 1994 and had performed for various  events and festivals. Kirana Kay will be breaking her tradition on the 24th November 2016 by playing Latin & Brazillian genre music alongside with Hady Afro Trio!
